A more reliable and comfortable inter-urban travel agency featuring air-conditioning systems, CCTV cameras, satellite internet, phone charging ports, onboard TVs, entertainment with food and drinks, and spacious seating — all designed for passenger comfort and peace of mind — was entrusted to God’s hands on Saturday, August 9, by the Archbishop of Bamenda, His Grace Andrew Fuanya Nkea.

Commissioning the buses, their drivers, and the passengers who will be travelling to major towns in Cameroon and out to neighbouring countries, he prayed for protection.

“Father, as we commit this endeavour of your children, let this facility, new in Cameroon’s transport system, promote and protect the initiators alongside those they carry, for business or leisure,” the Archbishop prayed.

He was assisted by Monsignor Kintang and other priests as he moved among the buses, showering them with blessings.

Earlier, the Managing Director of EPIC Rides and Tours (ERT), Linda-Bei Ngundam Epse Che, stated that at the centre of everything they do are four values: Comfort, Health, Safety, and Security – CHeSS.

“Based in Bamenda, our mission is to improve public transport in our city and across the country. We are committed to more than just delivering a ride from one place to another. We want every passenger to enjoy a journey that is safe, reliable, comfortable, and enjoyable. It is because of this vision that we came together to create Epic Rides and Tours, a high-standard transport company under EPIC Holdings Limited, right here at the Epic Building on Ayaba Street, Bamenda,” she said.

“We believe intercity travel in Cameroon can be better, and we are here to prove it. Our modern buses are equipped with CCTV cameras, satellite internet, phone charging ports, onboard TVs, entertainment with food and drinks, and spacious seating – all designed for your comfort and peace of mind. Whether you choose our EPIC Comfort or EPIC Executive travel options, you will enjoy the same high level of service and care. Soon, we will be offering tourism packages. Our motto says it all: ON TIME, ALL THE TIME. You are welcome to EPIC Rides and Tours, and you are welcome to a new travel experience,” Linda-Bei Ngundam Epse Che concluded.
