Nestlé nido® with cocoa powder is safe for consumption

Nestlé Cameroun is pleased to announce that the Ministry of Public Health has officially confirmed that Nestlé NIDO® with cocoa powder is safe for consumption.

This clarification follows a period of close collaboration with the authorities, during which Nestlé Cameroun welcomed inspectors from the Ministry of Health to its Douala factory. The inspectors collected samples from several batches of the product for thorough analysis by accredited independent laboratories.

Following this rigorous inspection of the Douala factory, the detailed analysis of the samples, and transparent dialogue with the authorities, the Minister of Health issued a press release on November 5 confirming the safety of Nestlé NIDO® with cocoa powder.

We welcome this clarification confirming the safety of Nestlé NIDO® with cocoa powder and invite our consumers to continue enjoying this nutritious and delicious beverage with complete confidence. I would like to reaffirm that, at Nestlé, consumer safety remains our top priority. All NIDO® products, including Nestlé NIDO® with cocoa powder, are produced under strict respect of all applicable quality and food safety standards,” said Mr. Aboubacar COULIBALY, Managing Director of Nestlé Cameroun.

Nestlé Cameroun places great importance on the questions and concerns of its consumers, who can contact the company free of charge via the toll-free number 8545 or via WhatsApp at +237 650 75 86 25, available 24/7.

We thank our consumers and partners for their continued trust and loyalty to our company and our brands.
