Top officials drawn from across all the ministries are receiving training on the use of the Personnel and Payroll Management Application Software, AIGLES.
The training that spans from July 8 to 10, 2026, in Kribi, Ocean Division, South Region of Cameroon, is organised by the Ministry of Public Service and Administrative Reform, MINFOPRA, in collaboration with the Ministry of Finance, MINFI.
The training placed under the theme: “Sensitisation of Public Administrations on the Processing of Career Management Files within the Personnel and Payroll Management Application, AIGLES,” involves Secretaries General (SG); Directors of General Affairs (DAG); Directors of Human Resources (DHR); and Finance Controllers (FC) of Ministries.
In an information note dated July 3, 2026 and signed by the MINFOPRA Boss, Joseph LÉ, who is also the Chairman of the Inter-Ministerial Steering Committee for the AIGLES project, states that he (the Minister) will personally preside at the training session.
It notes further that the aim is to strengthen the ownership of the strategic platform in order to improve the processing of career files for public officials; and to promote governance that is more efficient, more transparent, and more focused on the quality of service provided to users, whom MINFOPRA usually refers to as ‘kings.’
“Thus through this initiative, the Government reaffirms its determination to make digital technology a major lever for modernising Public Administration, securing career management, and continuously improving the performance of the Cameroonian public service,” the information notes states.
Apart from evaluating the implementation of recommendations arrived at during the last seminar of Secretaries General; the training is bordering on the role of SG, DAG, DRH and FC in AIGLES notably the strategic vision and expected impact.
The report of the Head of the Mobile Team is expected to highlight statistics of treated files by each administration while the general presentation of AIGLES will also embody the notion of electronic signature and visas of files in AIGLES. Three practical workshops will put the cap on the training.
