The Cameroon People’s Democratic Movement (CPDM) Sub-Section “C” of Mfoundi II, located in the Mokolo Market area, has committed to delivering 100 percent of its votes to presidential candidate Paul Biya in the upcoming electio
This pledge was made during a rally held on October 8 in Yaoundé, chaired by Hon. Paul Eric, President of the CPDM Yaoundé Zone 2, alongside S.M. Bienvenu Lonkeu Njouboussi, President of the Mokolo Centre CPDM section, and other party officials.
In his address to the gathered militants, who came together to strategize for Biya’s victory, Hon. Eric praised the enthusiasm of the CPDM members.
Drawing inspiration from President Biya’s speech in Maroua on October 7, he highlighted the president’s profound understanding of the nation and its people’s challenges.
“We can take pride in the fact that he has promised to address the issues facing Cameroonians tirelessly,” Hon. Eric stated. “For this, we must applaud the president. Let me remind you of one key message: We vote for him, we vote for him, we vote for him.”
Hon. Eric also commended the section president for his efforts and urged all militants to stay committed as election day approaches.
S.M. Lonkeu Njouboussi, addressing the militants and supporters, emphasized that the main goal of the gathering was to unite and ensure that on October 12, the CPDM Mokolo Centre militants secure a victory for their “champion,” Paul Biya.
While acknowledging the significant progress made, Njouboussi stressed that the remaining task was to turn this commitment into reality. He underscored the section’s inclusive policy, stating, “At Mokolo Centre, we operate as a family. No one is left out, no one is marginalized.”
He specifically urged militants to ensure that everyone votes by 10 a.m. on October 12 to achieve the promised 100 percent turnout for President Biya.
After the rally, CPDM militants praised President Biya, referring to him as the “wise man” who has led Cameroon “wisely and intelligently.” They expressed their confidence in his vision to transform Cameroon into an emerging nation by 2035.
“In appreciation of all that our president has done for us, the best way we can show our gratitude is by giving him our confidence, as he is the best driver,” remarked one militant.
