The new Moderator of the Presbyterian Church in Cameroon, PCC, Right Reverend Miki Hans Abia, has pegged his mandate, on: “Strengthening, edifying one another.”

He was inducted by the out-going Moderator, Rt. Rev. Dr. Fonki Samuel, who described him as the right man for the job.

Instituted and inducted on March 16 in Buea, with the new Synod Clerk, Reverend Ayuk Solomon Eta, Rt. Rev. Miki Hans harped on what he termed their mandate statement: “Strengthening, Edifying: A Call To Consolidate, Accommodate One Another.”

He said after being elected Moderator on November 18, 2024, he asked himself: What path should I take?” He said, with the help of God, he decided that he will take the path of reconciliation – unconditional reconciliation in a “shared mission for God’s glory.” He further stated: “We will build on the old foundation, but with new blocks.” He promised to do things right in the right way.

He traced his life from the early days through his ministerial journey to when he became Synod Clerk five years ago, remarking that all the roles and responsibilities he has held were a training ground.

Rt. Rev. Miki Hans is married to Nyango Afor Viviane epse Miki, a professional teacher of Biology and God has blessed their union with four children.

Rt. Rev. Miki Hans Abia is the 7th Moderator of the PCC while Rev. Ayuk Solomon Eta is the 12th Synod Clerk.

The PCC has about 600 pastors. The PCC has been established in South Africa, the  USA, in Europe and other countries.
