Cameroon’s Prime Minister, Joseph Dion Ngute, recently conducted an inspection tour of ongoing road construction projects in the Far North Region. The visit of the PM, who represented the Head of State, President Paul Biya, aimed to assess the progress and quality of work on these critical infrastructure projects, which are vital for the region’s economic development and connectivity.
During his tour, the Prime Minister visited several sites, including the Mora-Damaturu road and the Maroua-Banki road. He expressed satisfaction with the progress made so far and urged contractors to maintain the pace of work to ensure timely completion. The Prime Minister’s presence on the ground demonstrates the government’s commitment to overseeing the implementation of these projects and ensuring that they meet the expected standards.
The PM maintained that the development of the road network in the Far North Region is a priority for the government, as it will enhance connectivity, facilitate trade, and improve access to essential services such as healthcare and education.
